Features

Everything you need to message customers on WhatsApp, properly.

Built on the Official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). Every feature below is built and tested; the few that aren't yet are marked “Coming soon”.

Broadcasts

Broadcasts with consent, cost and reach up front

Send an approved template to the people who agreed to hear from you. Before anything goes out, you see who is included, who is left out and why, what it should cost, and how much of today's sending limit it uses.

  • A four-step wizard: audience, message, sending, review. A summary of reach, template, schedule and estimated cost stays on screen at every step.
  • Include and exclude segments and tags. People who opted out, have no consent for the message type or aren't on WhatsApp are left out and counted.
  • Personalise with contact fields and fallbacks. If a value is missing and there's no fallback, that person is skipped, never sent “Hi ,”.
  • Send now or schedule up to 30 days ahead in IST, with a throttle and a send window.
  • Typed confirmation for large sends, and an optional approval by an Owner or Admin before they launch.
  • Pause, resume or cancel at any time. Sending pauses itself if quality drops, a template is paused or failures spike, and tells you why.

Templates

Message templates, with a preview of what people will see

Write templates in an editor that explains Meta's categories, shows a live preview, and keeps the approval status and quality of each template in view.

  • Text or media headers, WhatsApp formatting, variables, footers, and quick-reply or call-to-action buttons.
  • A “Stop promotions” button for marketing templates, in one click.
  • A starter library of common templates to adapt.
  • Submit to Meta, sync status and quality, and edit and resubmit after a rejection.
  • Send a test to a contact before you use a template in a broadcast.

Team inbox

One inbox for the whole team, on your official number

Every customer conversation in one shared place, so replies don't depend on whose phone a lead landed on.

  • Mine, Unassigned and All views. Assign a chat, take one yourself, or route new chats round-robin to agents who are online.
  • The 24-hour customer service window is shown on every chat. When it closes, the composer switches to approved templates.
  • Quick replies with “/”, attachments, reply buttons and lists, and quoted replies.
  • Internal notes with mentions, labels, and resolve or pending states.
  • A reply target: chats waiting too long are flagged Overdue and the right person is told.
  • Number masking for agents, with an audited reveal. Agents see only the chats they're allowed to.
  • Live updates without refreshing, and keyboard shortcuts for people who live in the inbox.

Auto-replies

Auto-replies that know when to stay quiet

Answer common questions straight away and let people know when you're closed, without sending three automatic messages to one customer.

  • Keyword rules: exact match, contains, or starts with, with a priority and a cooldown per contact.
  • A welcome message for first-time contacts, sent once.
  • An away message outside your business hours, sent once per closed period.
  • At most one automatic reply per message, and never in reply to STOP or START.

Example rules

Keyword “price”
Replies with your price list, then stays quiet for that person until the cooldown ends.
First message ever
“Thanks for writing to us. A teammate will reply shortly.”
Outside business hours
“We're closed now and will reply from 10 am.”
“STOP”
No auto-reply. The opt-out is recorded instead.

Sequences

Sequences that follow up for you

Build follow-ups on a visual canvas: send, wait, branch on a reply, update the contact, hand over to a person. Each contact moves at their own pace.

  • Start when a contact is created, a tag is added, a field changes, a keyword arrives, someone replies to a broadcast, a form is submitted, a Flow is completed, on a date (or every year), or manually.
  • Steps: send a template, message or Flow; wait, wait until a time or date, or wait for a reply; conditions; update tags and fields; assign the conversation; cancel a booking; goals and exits.
  • Checks before you publish: every branch connected, every template approved and filled in, every loop with a wait.
  • Versions: people already in a sequence stay on the version they started, until you move them.
  • Opting out always ends a sequence. Replies, tags and leaving a segment can end it too.
  • A report per step: how many entered, are waiting there now, reached a goal or left.

Hosted forms

Hosted forms that capture consent properly

Build a lead form without code, share its link or embed it on your site, and start the WhatsApp conversation the moment someone submits.

  • Seven question types, mapped to contact fields. Your colour and button text.
  • Consent text with a version and a purpose (marketing or service). The exact text a person saw is saved with their submission.
  • A fast, accessible page that runs without JavaScript and works inside an iframe on your site.
  • Spam protection without a CAPTCHA.
  • After submitting: a thank-you or redirect, a WhatsApp button, tags, a follow-up template and a sequence.
  • Someone who opted out before is never re-subscribed by a web form: they confirm on WhatsApp from their own number first.

WhatsApp Flows

WhatsApp Flows: forms inside the chat

Let customers book, choose and tell you what they need without leaving WhatsApp. Answers land on the contact and can start a sequence.

  • A builder with screens, twelve question types and Meta's character limits, plus a phone preview.
  • Check with WhatsApp before publishing, so errors show up in the builder, not in front of customers.
  • Send a Flow from the inbox or from a sequence step.
  • Completed answers are saved and mapped to contact fields. A consent question records consent with evidence.
  • Booking Flows with no server of your own: a question can show a list you keep in i-Connect (doctors, services, stylists), only the open days of a calendar, or only the free times for the day and person chosen.
  • Dynamic Flows: a screen can load its choices or text from your own server while the customer fills it in, for example the free slots for the service they picked.

Bookings

Bookings that can't be double-booked

Keep your doctors, services or batches and your time slots in i-Connect. Booking Flows offer only what's free, and the last place in a slot goes to exactly one person.

  • Lists of choices (up to 200 items) and calendars: time slots on days of the week, places per slot, how far ahead, minimum notice and holidays.
  • Places counted per doctor, stylist or teacher if you like, with the days each one works.
  • The slot is booked when the customer taps the last button. If someone took it a moment earlier, they're shown the times still free.
  • Every booking, whether made in WhatsApp, by your front desk or through the API, saves the day and time on the contact and adds a tag that can start reminders.
  • A Bookings page for upcoming bookings, adding one for a walk-in or a phone call, and cancelling, which frees the place.
  • Reschedule and Cancel buttons on your messages: a sequence step cancels the booking and offers new times.

Example rules

Keyword “price”
Replies with your price list, then stays quiet for that person until the cooldown ends.
First message ever
“Thanks for writing to us. A teammate will reply shortly.”
Outside business hours
“We're closed now and will reply from 10 am.”
“STOP”
No auto-reply. The opt-out is recorded instead.

Orders

Sell inside WhatsApp, paid straight to your account

Customers pick a product and size, give their address and pay by UPI or cash on delivery without leaving WhatsApp. The money goes straight to you: i-Connect never holds it.

  • Products with sizes and live stock. Sold-out items disappear from the checkout, and the last piece goes to exactly one customer.
  • A checkout Flow with the order summary, your shipping fee and free shipping above an amount you choose.
  • A Pay button that opens GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, WhatsApp Pay or any UPI app with the amount and order number filled in, plus a QR code for paying from another phone.
  • Connect your own Razorpay account and payments by UPI, card, netbanking or wallet confirm the order automatically. No gateway yet? Customers send their UPI reference and you confirm it in one tap.
  • Pay in WhatsApp: customers pay inside the chat from WhatsApp's own order message, and the order page updates as it's packed, shipped and delivered. i-Connect tracks WhatsApp's approval steps and switches it on by itself.
  • Refunds in a few taps, back through WhatsApp or Razorpay, or recorded when you refund a UPI payment yourself.
  • Cash on delivery with an optional limit, an automatic reminder for unpaid orders and cancellation that puts the stock back.
  • Products you can add by hand, import from a CSV or Google Sheet, or sync from Shopify or WooCommerce, then publish to your WhatsApp catalog so customers can browse and send a cart.
  • Book shipments with Shiprocket, and remind customers who left a checkout unfinished.
  • An Orders page and an inbox panel to mark orders paid, packed, shipped and delivered, with tags that start your shipping and feedback sequences.

Example rules

Keyword “price”
Replies with your price list, then stays quiet for that person until the cooldown ends.
First message ever
“Thanks for writing to us. A teammate will reply shortly.”
Outside business hours
“We're closed now and will reply from 10 am.”
“STOP”
No auto-reply. The opt-out is recorded instead.

Industry kits

Industry kits: start from a set that already works together

Ready-made sets for real estate, clinics, coaching institutes, salons and online stores: message templates, a web form, WhatsApp Flows, sequences, a booking calendar or sample products, linked to each other.

  • One click creates everything as drafts in your account. Nothing is sent, submitted or published until you've made it yours.
  • Templates written to WhatsApp's rules for each kind of business. Meta reviews them on your account when you submit.
  • Booking Flows already checked with WhatsApp, and sequences that pass every check once your templates are approved.
  • Anything you already have with the same name is kept and used, so nothing is duplicated.

Example rules

Keyword “price”
Replies with your price list, then stays quiet for that person until the cooldown ends.
First message ever
“Thanks for writing to us. A teammate will reply shortly.”
Outside business hours
“We're closed now and will reply from 10 am.”
“STOP”
No auto-reply. The opt-out is recorded instead.

Contacts & segments

Contacts and segments, with consent on every record

Bring your contacts in with their consent status, and group them with rules you can read.

  • CSV and Excel import, with column mapping and a consent declaration. Imports never re-subscribe opted-out numbers.
  • Custom fields and tags. Indian number formats understood; landlines refused.
  • A segment builder with AND, OR and NOT rules over fields, tags, consent and engagement, with a live count.
  • Export a contact's data, or erase it. After erasure only a one-way hash remains, so that person is never messaged again.

Reports

Reports that explain themselves

Each number comes with its definition, and each failure with a reason in plain words.

  • Organisation overview by day, with a filter per number.
  • A funnel per broadcast: sent, delivered, read, replied and clicked, plus who was left out and why.
  • Click tracking on template link buttons: each message gets its own short link, so you see who clicked.
  • Failures grouped by reason, explained in plain words.
  • A report per sequence step, and team performance with first-response times in business hours.
  • CSV exports, with every export recorded in the audit log.

Roles, security & audit

Roles and an audit trail for every sensitive action

Give each person the access their job needs, and see who did what.

  • Six roles: Owner, Admin, Manager, Agent, Analyst and Billing.
  • Two-factor sign-in with an authenticator app, which an organisation can require for everyone.
  • An audit log of sign-ins, role changes, exports, number reveals, launches and approvals.
  • If our support team ever needs to look inside your organisation, it's with a reason, for a limited time, read-only by default, and it shows in your audit log.

API & webhooks

An API and signed webhooks for your own systems

Add contacts from your website or CRM, send approved templates from your backend, and get an event the moment something happens.

  • API keys shown once, with scopes (read or write contacts, send templates, read message status, enrol in sequences, submit forms, read or make bookings, change lists and calendars), an optional IP allowlist, expiry and rotation with a grace period.
  • Endpoints to add or update contacts with consent evidence, send an approved template, check a message's status, enrol someone in a sequence, submit a form, and keep lists, calendars and bookings in step with your own booking system.
  • Idempotency keys, so a retried request never sends a message twice. 20 requests a second per key.
  • Signed webhooks for incoming messages, delivery and read statuses, new contacts, opt-outs, form and Flow submissions, finished broadcasts, assigned conversations, and bookings made or cancelled.
  • Failed deliveries are retried for about nine hours, with a delivery log for each endpoint. A sequence step can call your webhook too.

Example rules

Keyword “price”
Replies with your price list, then stays quiet for that person until the cooldown ends.
First message ever
“Thanks for writing to us. A teammate will reply shortly.”
Outside business hours
“We're closed now and will reply from 10 am.”
“STOP”
No auto-reply. The opt-out is recorded instead.
